UCAN uses activities and strategies to reach individuals involved in anti-social behaviour and on the cusp of criminal activity. We run cross curricular, small group and bespoke one-to-one training session as well as online lesson plans, including interactive films to provoke discussion around issues such as knife crime and county lines drug dealing that can lead to AQA Unit Award Certificates.
UCAN uses a trauma-informed and partnership approach to strength-based education. We also provide direct support to school safeguarding teams and a comprehensive staff CPD offer.
UCAN enables teaching staff to discuss issues around antisocial behaviour. These include a film around how involvement in low-level drugs dealing can spiral into serious criminal activity and even imprisonment.
