How Our Services Work

Core services

• Crime Scene Workshops — Hands-on, realistic sessions that use forensic scenarios to demonstrate consequences, vulnerabilities and the real-life impact of criminal behaviour.

• Four Supporting Videos — Age-appropriate films used before and after workshops that reinforce key learning around gangs, knife crime, child sexual exploitation (CSE) and wider criminal activity.

• Live Interactive Avatar — Anonymised AI-led facilitator that engages pupils on sensitive issues, runs scenario conversations, and collects anonymised data to assess risk trends.

• Risk Analysis for Schools — Actionable reports that highlight patterns and likely emerging behaviours so pastoral teams can target interventions earlier.

How it works (quick)

1. Book a workshop for a small group or a full year group.

2. Pre-workshop film viewing to introduce themes and ground discussion.

3. In-school crime scene workshop led by trained facilitators.

4. Post-workshop follow-up with the avatar for role-play and a school risk analysis report.

2. — Online Services for Parents & Carers (UCan Northwest + Parent999.com)

Support for parents and carers when a teenager is at risk — guidance, courses and 24/7 help.

Parenting teenagers is hard. When antisocial or criminal behaviour becomes a risk, specialist guidance and timely support make all the difference. UCan Northwest and Parent999.com provide practical online courses, resources and an out-of-hours live avatar service for families.

What we offer parents & carers

• On-demand online courses: Short modules on recognising signs of gang involvement, spotting indicators of knife risk and child sexual exploitation, de-escalation strategies, and how to work effectively with schools and police.

• Parent-focused videos and toolkits: Short, clear guidance you can use immediately at home.

• Live avatar support (out-of-hours): Anonymised, interactive help available outside normal hours to advise on immediate next steps, signpost services and help you assess risk.

• Telephone and email referrals: Guidance on next steps and how to access local services, safeguarding teams and specialist support.

• Joint school-parent interventions: If the school is involved, coordinated plans to support the young person at home and in school.

Why this matters

• Early parent intervention can prevent escalation and reduce harm.

• Practical, non-judgemental advice increases parent confidence and effectiveness.

• 24/7 avatar support fills the gap when issues arise outside office hours.
